Introduction to CAAA
Introduction to China Animal Agriculture Association (CAAA)
Established on Dec.09, 2001, China Animal Agriculture Association (shortened as CAAA) was granted the status of national corporate legal person by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. CAAA is a national-level organization composed voluntarily of enterprises, institutions and individuals engaged in the animal agriculture or related industries. In addition to the merging of China Poultry Industry Association, China Swine Industry Association, China Pasture Industry Association, and China National Kennel Club, CAAA expands business scope to cattle industry, sheep industry, rabbit industry, bee industry, special animal breeding, veterinarian, processing and trade of animal products, machinery of animal husbandry and biotechnology.
There are ten sub-associations under CAAA approved by the Ministry of Civil Administration, they are: Poultry Industry Association, Swine Industry Association, Sheep Industry Association, Pasture Industry Association, China National Kennel Club, Cattle Industry Association, Rabbit Industry Association, Bee Industry Association, Special Animal Breeding Association and Veterinary Association.
Objectives of the CAAA To play a role in service, coordination, consultancy and the like in animal husbandry so as to assist government to administrate the industry, protect the legal rights of its members and the industry, promote the normal development of the industry in China.
